So sorry to hear about Rod's passing. He was my pledge son in our college fraternity. Rod was always friendly, always had a smile and was genuine. He is just one more example of someone I always meant to contact until it was too late. The world is in need of more people like Rod. Rest In Peace my friend.

I Met Rodney, .....Mr. Wortman, ("oh you want it that way, OK Mr. Kissel, lol") thru work needing Health clearances back in 2001 for a large new location I was opening. He didn't realize it was close to 100k sq feet inside and out. So he made some witty comment about how I just messed up his whole day,...... right then I learned how Rodney worked, injected great humored, and ultimately became a friend, and was someone who would always help, even when he had moved on to a different area. So Sad to hear of this sad loss, as I was once again reaching out to Rodney, looking for some of his unequaled assistance. RIP my friend.....and Please Rodney go easy on them in Heaven 🙂 .

I thank you for mentoring me and giving me valuable advices all the time. I wish we had a chance to meet up before this happen. Your smile will always be in my memory. Thank you and I hope you find true peace now.

Rodney was my right hand when I was assigned to the Housing Unit as Chief. He was a great team player and a class act.

Rodney was one of the West Point, NE, swimming pool gang. Like most of us he was there from opening until closing and also a member of the best racing team of all times! We won most meets - we ROCKED! You could count on him to join in our friendly dare/diving competition off the board. He had a light-hearted sense of humor and kept us laughing. His skin tanned so brown and his blonde hair bleached almost white every summer. I told he could be one of Beach Boys and would probably end up being a surfer. Rodney, I hope the surf’s up in Heaven, my friend.

That's a great picture of our friend! A smile comes to my face when I think of Rodney. He was, without a doubt, a source of entertainment for so many. What a unique personality! He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Rodney was a dear friend in High School and I am saddened by his passing. The last time I saw him was at our 40th class reunion. Humorous as always and dressed to the nines. I was looking forward to reconnecting with him at our 50th reunion last May. I will be missing my friend.
