Dean, Craig, and Jeremy:Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Kathy was a very dear friend to me even though we were miles apart. Aaron enjoyed visiting her in her office every day after school while I was still working. He always had to go see "Mrs. Eldendinger" as he called her. I was truly blessed to have known Kathy and very lucky to have her as a friend.

Dean, Craig & Jeremy,My thoughts and prayers are with you tonight. You wife and mom taught me in Typing class when I was a freshman at Scribner. I also worked with her on the yearbook during my later years in high school. She was always one of my favorite teachers and I loved working with her on the yearbook. She pushed me to work harder than I really wanted to because she knew I would thank her in the end. I credit her with being one of several teachers at Scribner High that allowed me to succeed in my life. May God be with you all during this difficult time.

I will remember Kathy as a firm but fair high school teacher and mother to one of my best friends. In school Kathy taught me how to type and showed me how to use the internet for the first time. I will always remember these things and how they have helped me in my career. -TJ

To the family of our dear friend Kathy, We both had the honor of teaching with Kathy at WPHS. She was an amazing woman who was admired by many. When we heard of her illness we immediately prayed for her healing. Truly God answered our prayer but it was on the other side of life. Kathy is now healed and fine, now we will pray for your healing which at this time probably seems very far away if not impossible to you. May God hold you in the palm of His hand. With our sincerest sympathy, Jim and Kathi Sherwood

I was shocked to read about Kathy in the paper. I have fond memories of her as my teacher at SHS. Kathy was only a few years older than me. It was so cool to have such a young, hip teacher. And she was also a friend to us. She always had a bright smile. Your family has my deepest sympathy.

As a school administrator we always hope we "get it right" when hiring personnel and I know we did "get it right" with Kathy. My sincerest sympathies to the Ellermeier family. You can be assured that Kathy was very loved, appreciated and will be missed. The lives that she touched will forever be improved by having known and learned from her. My fondest memory of Kathy was her unending patience in trying to teach me how to use the camera for yearbook, and her sense of humor when I would, occasionally, double expose the film, resulting in very interesting basketball action shots being played on a wrestling mat. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to the Ellermeier family. Kathy and I became acquainted when she was the business teacher at Scribner and I was at Wisner-Pilger. We soon realized she had married a "former student" of mine and we had many good times catching up on all the news from Trojan Land. (I was the business teacher at Scribner High School from 1964-67...some of the best years of my professional career) I was certainly shocked to learn that Kathy had passed away...heaven has gained a remarkable person. May God be with all of her family.

Dean, Craig, and Jeremy and family. I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Ellermeier. She was one reason why I am teaching business today. I enjoyed working with her when I was a student on the yearbook,FBLA, and in the classroom. As I teach keyboarding to my students I think of her quite often. She was the fastest typist I knew and in H.S. I was in awh by how fast her fingers could go. She was a special person and will be missed. I have a lot of fond memories of her in the classroom and talking to her as a professional at business conferences. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless all of you.
