Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It is impossible to put into words what Dean meant to all of us. Our hearts are heavy with sadness. But we will cherious all of the laughs that we shared and most of all the good things that Dean did for us over the years. His was a very loyal friend and customer. We will always remember him with a smile and a cup of coffee. God Bless!!!

Thinking of all of you at this time of great sadness. You are in my prayers - may happy memories ease the sorrow that you feel. One more angel to watch over us and a "handyman" to help out the big guy in the sky! Hugs to all.

Theresa, I remember when you and Dean were dating---he became such a love of your life and he continued being your great love through all these years. I recall Janet and I making him a poppy seed cake for your wedding since wedding cake was "girlie!" May all your happy memories bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

Theresa, Jim, and Jay and Families; My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of loss and sadness. Dean was such a great guy and I always enjoyed a conversation with him. He was one to respect another persons opinion and not look down on them. I am very sorry but I will be out of town for the funeral in Cedar Rapids,Iowa. My day on Thursday will be filled with great memories of Dean and I will say a rosary for his soul. He is in a place with NO pain and his light will shine on you always. Dean, thanks for the memories and good conversation.

Dean was a valued member of the NorthStar Governing Board. He was soft spoken, but people always listened to him. He had an abundance of common sense.

We were very fortunate to have his presence advocating for people with developmental disabilites. On a personal note; I cannot put into words how much his support and confidence meant to me.

We will miss him tremendously.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Theresa, Jim, Jay and families-Dean was a great, great man, and a true friend-He gave me some positive criticisms when he was on the school board which were very beneficial to me--He will not only be missed by his family, but he was a great friend to so many people-I can just see Dean and Wimpy up in heaven catching some of those holy fish--May God bless your entire family and remember that "Death is not a period---Only a comma".
