I know my aunt "Barbie" will be remembered just that way - the beautiful, happy, blonde we all knew her as. She will be missed dearly, but can be close to my heart every time I wear pink! Thank you for your continued love and prayers on behalf of the entire family.

Thank you all for contributing so many wonderful memories to this website! I have just returned from the funeral and decided to do a web search for Barb and any news I could find about her life. I was so excited to see that so many of you have written about your fond memories of her. It was too difficult for anyone to speak at the funeral today about their thoughts of Barbie, except for Junior. Thank you again sir for your kind words! My favorite memory of Barb lends further to the fact that she was so wonderful with children. One day out at the farm, she taught me to make a most unique bow-tie out of a dollar bill. Though I struggled with the task at first, she continued to help me until I had the folds memorized. I still make the ties today and I always think about her. The skill will forever be a fantastic reminder of my Aunt Bow-tie Barbie!
