Barbara P. Marquardt, 44, of Tombstone, Arizona formerly of Scribner died November 8, 2005 at her home. Memorial Services will be 10:30 am. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner. Burial of her ashes will be at the Scribner Cemetery. Barbara was born June 1, 1961 in Scribner to Stanley D. and Mary Cannizzo Marquardt. She is a 1979 graduate of Scribner High School and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She taught school in California and Texas, and recently at Howells, before moving to Tombstone where she was in her second year teaching third grade at Walter J. Meyers Elementary School in Tombstone. Survivors include her father Stanley (Joanne) Marquardt of Scribner sisters Christine (Robert) Meyer of Scribner, Mary (Mark) Rice of Littleton, Colorado, brothers Don of Florida, Darrell (Laurie) of Omaha and Sonny of Tempe, Arizona. She is preceded in death by her mother in 1999 and her husband.
