Wilma Marie Baumann, 92 of West Point died October 5, 2006 at Arroyo Grande, Californiam.ass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. Guild, Christian Mothers, and Catholic Daughters Rosary will be 1:30 pm. Thursday and Public Rosary will be 7:00 pm. Thursday both at Stokely Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm. Friday at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Thursday. Memorials may be made to Central Catholic Endowment or Alzheimer’s Association. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Wilma was born June 20, 1914 at Howells to James and Barbara Molacek Drahota. She attended schools at Howells, Creighton University and Van Zant Business College. On September 28, 1936 she married Raymond L. Baumann in Howells. The couple owned and operated the H. W. and R. L. Baumann Department Store in West Point until 1985. Wilma spent the last years of her life living between California and West Point. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Guild, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters and Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughters Linda McGowan of La Jolla, CA, Nancy Tinley, of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, and Lori (Mark) Hays of Arroyo Grande, CA, her son Dr. Bill (Delores) Baumann of Omaha, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 1985 sister Marie Folda and brothers Randy Lumir and James, Jr. Drahota.
