Wendelin Bernard Renner, 83, of rural Dodge, died February 4, 2007 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 pm. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Aloys with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. Public Wake Services will be 6:00 pm. Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 3:00 pm. at Stokely Funeral Home and continue at the Church. Memorials may be made to the St. Aloysius Church Cemetery. Wendelin was born January 31, 1924 on the family farm south west of Aloys in Cuming County to Joseph and Theresa Neesen Renner. He attended St. Aloysius Catholic School. He farmed and fed cattle with his father, then his brothers Clemens and Joseph. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Survivors include sisters Sister Anelle Renner, Order of St. Francis, and Angeline Vanek of Howells, 14 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Frank, Joseph, Leo, Clemens, and Raymond, sisters Solomea Renner and Bernadine Gall.
