Vivian Elizabeth Moeller, 82, of Scribner died Sunday at her home. Funeral Services have been postponed until 1:30 pm. Sunday at theSt. Peter Lutheran Church in Scribner with Reverend Bruce Schut officiating. Burial will be at the Scribner Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 pm. until 4:00 pm. Friday with family present at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point and an hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church. Vivian was born May 16, 1927 at West Point to Frederick and Elsa Larsson Woerner. She attended schools in West Point where she was a member of the West Point Drum and Bugle Corps. Vivian graduated with the class of 1945 and was a faithful attendee at the Alumni festivities. On November 11, 1945, Vivian married Bernell Moeller at St. John’s Lutheran Church rural Hooper. The couple farmed south of Scribner from 1952 until 1964 when they moved to town. Vivian worked as a waitress for White’s Cafe and Ina’s Cafe as well as clerked at both Tuchenhagen Hardware and Slama Hardware retiring in 1990. Vivian was an active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Ladies Aide and Quilting Guild. She put out the church news letter. She enjoyed quilting and loved scrap booking and archiving. Survivors include a daughter Sandra (Leland) Koch of Muscatine, Iowa, sons Larry (Stephanie) of Manhattan, Kansas, Lynn (Patricia) of Pierce, Brian (Jackie) of Fremont, and Douglas (Peggy Sue) of Dallas, Georgia, sister Mary Ellen Danielson of West Point and a brother Fred (Janice) Woerner, f West Point, grandchildren Jason, Tyson and John Koch, Ann Koch Edkin, Sarah Moeller Swan, Andrew Moeller Jenny Moeller Simmons, Matthew and Casey Moeller, Jared and Kaitlyn Moeller, Bryden andLindsey Moeller and Jennifer Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernell, on March 24, 1991, sister Alice Vakiner and Elsa “Suzie” Tyrell and a brother Leonard Woerner.
