Todd Hensel, 31, of West Point, died Saturday, November 11, 2023.  Memorial service will be 10:30am on Friday, November 17 at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point with Rev. Deb Hammer officiating.  Attendees are encouraged to ride their motorcycles in honor of Todd.  Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery with lunch following at Grace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Stokely Funeral Home.  Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home.

Todd was born on September 3, 1992, to Kurt and Linda (Siemek) Hensel in West Point.  He grew up on the family farm and attended West Point Public School. One of Todd’s greatest joys in life was being a father to his boys. Todd’s adventurous spirit found expression in his love for riding his Harley.  Whether it was the hum of the engine or the freedom of the ride, Todd found solace and joy on two wheels.

Known for his generous and caring nature, Todd had a heart of gold. His genuine kindness extended to everyone he encountered, and he had a unique ability to make friends out of strangers. Todd’s compassion was evident in his eagerness to help others and his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around him.  Among Todd’s passions were his affection for Chevy trucks and tinkering with anything that might need to be fixed or upgraded. His faithful companion, Deuce, the family dog, could be found by his side.

Survivors include his sons, Sterling and Jameson; mother, Linda Hensel; sister, Amanda (Andy) Bossow and family; brother, Kyle (Kora) and family; girlfriend, Jessica Karr and her son Uriah; foster children, Hailie and Alex; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by infant daughter, Maria Leonard; father, Kurt in 2020; and grandparents, Gerald and Elizabeth Siemek and Hyle and Donna Hensel.
