Thomas Radecker, 89, of West Point, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm. Tuesday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Reverend Richard Bringewatt officiating. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation 9:00 am. to 8:00 pm. Monday with family receiving friends 5 to 7 pm. at Stokely Funeral Home. Thomas DeWain Radecker was born October 27, 1922, southeast of West Point to Hans and Johannah Reimers Radecker. He attended District 15 country school and St. Paul Lutheran and was a 1940 graduate of West Point High School. Thomas farmed with his father and brother, moving to a farm at Pender in 1952. He retired into West Point where Thomas continued to be a caregiver to his parents. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point. Survivors include brothers, Leroy of Norfolk; sister, Margaret (Glenn) Siebrandt of Pender; three nephews and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Franklin and sister-in-law Dorothy.
