Funeral Services for Terry (Butch) Hespe, 74, will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Leigh, NE, on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 1:30 pm with Pastor Marino of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Terry was born to Lauren and Elaine Hespe at Leigh August 5, 1942. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion in Leigh. He graduated from Leigh High School in 1961. He joined the Army following high school. After serving his country, he did harvest trucking from Texas to Canada for eight years. This was followed by coast-to-coast trucking. He returned to Leigh in 2009 and helped care for his brother, Don, who had cancer. That fall, he began working for Ann and Don Kudrna with harvest hauling and occasionally helped throughout the year until his death in May 2017. He is survived by a niece in IL, and Doris Hoff, an aunt by marriage in Columbus, NE. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Leigh, NE. Stokely Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
