Ronda Faye Parr, 40, of Scribner, died September 13, 2005 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Scribner. Funeral services will be 10:30 am. Saturday at United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scribner with Vicar Nicki McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at the Scribner Cemetery. Prayer services will be 10:30 am. Friday at Good Samaritan Home and 7:30 pm. Friday at First Lutheran Church with visitation being 1:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. Friday at the church, all in Scribner. Ronda was born September 4, 1965 at West Point to James and Arlene Moyer Parr. She attended J. P. Lourde School in Omaha for seven years and school in Scribner for two years, before attending special education classes in West Point until age 21. She worked at the ENCOR workshop at Fremont for several years. In 2002, she entered Good Samaritan Home. Ronda was a member of United Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved playing Bingo, all kinds of music, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family. She was known for her wonderful smile. Survivors include her mother, Arlene of Scribner, sisters Lois (William) Young of Austin, Minnesota, Patsy (Thomas P.) Kelly of Hebron, Diane (Danny) Barber of Henderson, Colorado, Karolyn (Vincent) Streeter of Columbia, South Carolina, Bonnie (Dale) Christiansen of Pender, LeAnn (Keith) Wisnieski of Howells, and Lisa (Keith) Worley of Hastings, 22 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, a host of relatives and friends, and best friend Marilyn Hanak. She is preceded in death by her father in February of 1994 and a nephew.
