Robert Fredrick Miller, 78, of Dodge, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Fremont Area Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Reverend Dennis DeGuzmann as celebrant. Public Wake Services will be 7:30 pm. Tuesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post # 8597. Memorials may be made to the church or to the Dodge Rescue. Visitation will be noon till 8:30 pm. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Those wishing to leave on-line condolences may do so www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Robert was born August 8, 1926 on the family farm North East of Olean in Cuming County to George and Katherine Dolejs Miller. He grew up there and attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Dodge High School. Robert served in the U. S. Army during WW II, from September 1945 to January 1947, in Korea. On May 5, 1953, He married Justina Langhorst at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Olean. The couple farmed and Robert worked as a mechanic at Farmers Garage in Dodge. In 1984 they moved into Dodge. Robert is a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, VFWPost#8597, Catholic Order of Foresters, and Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife, Justina, of Dodge, daughters Joan (Billy) Indra of Clarkson, Barbara (Cal) Hansen of Lincoln, Laura (Ron) Kiefer of Little Falls, New York, and Annette (Dana) Miller of Coachella, California, sons Donald (Shirley) of Duncombe, Iowa, James (Sue) of North Platte, and Paul of Dodge, sisters Kathleen Ernesti of West Point, Mary Lou (Marius) Baumert of West Point, brother John “Jack” (Delores) of Dodge, grandchildren Brian (Stacy) Miller, Christopher and Amanda Miller, Adam (Chayann) Indra, Dean, Lee, Justin and Samantha Indra, Christina (David) Barajas, Justin Hansen, Justina Kiefer, Jessica, John, Jenna and Jalee Miller, Jordon and Nicole Miller, great grandchildren Rocco and Broden Miller, Destiny Kobe Faith and JaseIndra, and Kennedy Indra. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mercedes Ruskamp, Dorothy Adams, and Jane Miller, brother George, and grandson Mathew Miller.
