Raymond Lawrence Peatrowsky, 81, of Louisville, NE, formerly of West Point died February 4, 2007 at Midland Hospital in Papillion. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with Reverend Harold Buse as celebrant. Public Wake Services will be 7:30 pm. Tuesday at Stokely Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Tuesday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s research or School Sisters of St. Francis and their ministry to the Poor. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Raymond was born March 3, 1925 on a farm in Cuming County near Beemer to Lawrence and Margaret Fillmer Peatrowsky. He attended District 28 country school and was a Guardian Angels Catholic School graduate. On April 13, 1948 he married Matilda Renner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Dodge. The couple farmed near Bancroft in Cuming County, moving into West Point in 1978. Ray also worked as self employed truck driver, drove truck for Ebel transfer and was a volunteer fireman. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. Survivors include daughters Diane (Bob) Farrens of Murrieta, CA, Donna Urbanski of Louisville, Janet (Michael) Weedman of Lincoln, and Jean (Terry) Poland of Dodge, sons Gary (Rosemary) Peatrowsky of Lincoln, dale (Beth) Peatrowsky of Omaha, sister Dolores (Jack) Miller of Dodge, brother LeRoy (Judy) Peatrowsky, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law Bill Urbanski.
