Sister Sharon Paul

May Paula rest in the Peace of Christ. It was such a pleasure to visit with her and take her to appointments. She was an avid reader and shared her books (large print) with our residents and are in our library. I also enjoyed her humor. She also dedicated her life for the care of her parents. What a blessing! We all will certainly miss her!

Paula Ann was a wonderfully talented individual who wrote interesting stories about her family. Keeping the family genealogy was important to her. She loved her family of cousins and stayed in touch with everyone. If there was any current family news, Paula Ann, would know. All of the Ortmeier family clan will miss her.

Paula Ann was always welcoming. She had a no-nonsense manner and voice (that pragmatic German trait), just like her mother and father. While browsing through her albums, we shared family stories and she enriched our lives with her memories of her parents and our past. She was one of the two who put together the first Ortmeier genealogy. What a cousin!!

Paula Ann will be deeply missed. She was a wonderful and caring person. She would write my Mom (Ida Peatrowsky) often about the family and letting her know what was going on. Our prayers are with her and now God has another angel.

We all will miss Paula Ann. She was a very caring person. I cannot imagine anyone taking up the position of the "Ortmeier" news dispenser. My sister Martha Kluthe also echoes My feelings and that of the Spenner family.

Paula Ann was like another daughter to my parents - she made them laugh and she always made sure they were aware of all the activity with the rest of the family. She was a tremendous comfort to me when they were both gone. I would stop and see her during my trips to Nebraska when Mom was still alive and sometime Mom would go with to visit - we covered alot of family history during those visits and all of us would be laughing. She was sunshine, joy, kindness and love - I will miss her more than I can say-God Speed Paula Ann! Hug Mom and Dad for me!
