Nadine Eyl, 72 of Dodge, died August 3, 2011 at her home. Services will be 1 pm Saturday, August 6th at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Snyder with Reverend Kris Rebentisch officiating. Visitation will be 11 am until time of service Saturday at St. Peter. Burial will be at the Wisner Cemetery at a later date. Stokely Funeral Home in Dodge is in charge of arrangements. Nadine Marie Eyl was born August 22, 1938 at Platte Center, NE to Leo and Agnes (Mottles) Olson. She attended school in Columbus and West Point. On March 20, 1971, Nadine married Ronald Eyl in South Sioux City, NE. The couple resided in Wisner where she worked as a waitress at Coachman’s Restaurant. In July of 1997 they moved to Louisiana and in 2002 they relocated to Dodge. Nadine worked as a convenience store clerk and a waitress at Adie’s in Snyder. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed participating in 4-H activities with her grandchildren. Survivors include husband, Ronald of Dodge; daughters Shayla (Dustin) Risch of Snyder and Lisa (Randy) Fischer of Omaha; sister Margaret Eyl of Wisner; sister in law Sandra Olson of Fremont; grandchildren Erinmarie, Damon, Daria and Shelby Risch, Jill and Sam Greser, Jacque Miranda and Katie Allero; and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Sharman Eyl; and son Daniel Runyan; parents; brother Francis Olson; sisters Donna Morlock and Shirley Ashmore,.
