Mildred Ramsbacher, 99, of West Point, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at the West Point Living Center. Services will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Reverend Richard Bringewatt officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 8 pm Thursday at Stokely Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Mildred Freida Ramsbacher was born May 25, 1913 to William and Alvina Rasmus Holtz in Beemer, NE. She attended school at Immanuel Lutheran south of Beemer and was a 1932 graduate of West Point High School. She married Clifford Ramsbacher and the couple lived in Pierre, SD and Galvaston, TX before settling in West Point in the early 80’s. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Evelyn Holtz of Bellevue, NE; nieces and nephews Karen Belek of Bellevue, NE, Cheryl Ott of Beemer, NE, Mary Lou Meier of West Point, Eddie Holtz of West Point, Craig Holtz of Beemer, and Bonnie Schellenberg of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, brothers Wilfert, Delbert, Roy and Irvin.
