Mildred Ann Mejstrik, 93, of West Point died October 7, 2005, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant with burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Guild Rosary will be 1:30 pm. Sunday and Public Wake Services will be 7:30 pm. Sunday both at Stokely Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon until 8:00 pm. Sunday. Memorials maybe made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Mildred was born June 18, 1912 at Snyder to Matthew and Anna Krueger Yosten. She attended schools in Snyder. On July 25, 1932 she married Frank Mejstrik at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Snyder. The couple lived in Omaha before moving to West Point in 1945. Mildred was an avid Bridge Player. Mildred was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Guild. Survivors include a son Francis (Joletta) of Norfolk, grandchildren Mike (Sandra) Mejstrik and Lisa (Troy) Sullivan, great grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, and Jessica Mejstrik, and Alison and Jack Sullivan. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1972, sister Theresa Holtz, brothers John, Bill, and Bernard.
