Milada Pojar, 89, of Dodge, died January 2, 2006 at Parkview Nursing Home at Dodge. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Reverend Dennis DeGuzman as celebrant. Christian Mothers Rosary will be 3:00 pm. Tuesday and Public Wake Services will be 7:00 pm. Tuesday both at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery. ComMilada was born March 29, 1916 on the family farm north west of Dodge in Cuming County to Frank and Anna Dostal Hanzel. She attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School. On August 18, 1936, she married Gilbert Pojar. The couple farmed south of Dodge, where Milada was active in the farming operation. In August of 2000, Milada moved to Parkview in Dodge. Milada was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Alter Society, and Christian Mothers. Survivors include a son Larry (Bonnie) of Dodge, grandchildren Brian, Jason, and Mark Pojar and Kris Walters, great grandchildren Blake, Kadin and Kiley Pojar, Jacob and Skylar Walters, Brandon and Ally Pojar. She is preceded in death by her husband in April 1999, sons James and Richard, and brother Lumir Hanzel. Stokely Funeral Home in Dodge is in charge of arrangements.
