Mary Jo Kreikemeier, 46 of Rogers, died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at her home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Wake services will be 2:00 pm. Sunday afternoon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. Visitation will be 9:00 am. till noon Sunday at Stokely Funeral Home and continue at the Church. A memorial has been established. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com.Mary Jo was born June 26, 1963 at West Point to Joseph and Mary Ann Feldhaus Peitzmeier. She grew up south of Scribner and attended school at North Bend graduating with the class of 1981. She studied at Lincoln School of Commerce to be a medical secretary. On June 22, 1985 she married Kenneth J. Kreikemeier and the couple settled north of Rogers in Colfax County. Mary Jo worked for the Farm Service Agency(formerly ASCS) for 25 years. She cleaned at St. Charles Church in North Bend for several years and recently began working part time at Hy-Vee in Fremont. Mary Jo was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend, St. Anne’s Alter Society Circle #6, Christian Mothers and Extension Club. She served on the Dodge County 4-H Council and was a 4-H leader. Mary Jo served on the St. Charles Parish Counsel, and taught CCD for several years. She was treasurer for the FFA Alumni Association. Survivors include her husband Kenneth of Rogers, children Ashley, Samantha, Jared and Ryan all at home and Michelle of Omaha, sister Jody Peitzmeier of Lincoln, brothers Jerry Peitzmeier of Ames, Michael (Laura) Peitzmeier of Hooper and Mark (Jill) Peitzmeier of Millard, aunts, uncles, cousins , nieces, nephews and in-laws. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Peter and Elizabeth Peitzmeier and Richard and Bertha Feldhaus, and her parents-in-law Frank and Alvina Kreikemeier.
