Marilyn J. Kriz, 74, of Dodge, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaham.ass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Thursday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with Reverend Patrick McLaughlin as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 3:00 pm. Wednesday and Wake Services will be 7:00 pm. Wednesday both at St. Wenceslaus. Memorials may be made to the Church. Visitation will be 3:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and was a 1950 graduate of Howells High School. In February of 1953, Marilyn married Gilbert”Gib” Kriz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Olean. The couple farmed in the area until 1972 when they moved into Dodge. Marilyn was then employed in the library at Dodge Public Schools and then for the Coop. Marilyn was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and Altar Society. Survivors include sons Dick (Darlene) Kriz of Howells and Dave Kriz of Dodge, grandsons Jason (Angie) Kriz and Kevin (Melissa) Kriz, great grandchildren Jasmine and Tucker Kriz and Brody Kriz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, on October 6, 1974 and her parents.
