Marie Ellinghausen, 83, of rural West Point died November 21, 2005 at the West Point Living Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 am. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church on the Cuming County Line with Reverend Kim Cottingham officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Memorial Hospital or St. John’s Church Cemetery Fund. Visitation will be 4:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. Marie was born May 6, 1922 on a farm in northern Dodge County to George and Anna Dorfmeyer Kottman. She attended school district 50 in Dodge County. On November 16, 1949 she married Adolph Ellinghausen. They made their home on a farm in southeast Cuming County. Marie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include sons, Vernon, Larry, Ron, and Dave all of West Point, a sister Evelyn Ellinghausen of West Point and a brother Glen Kottman of West Point, grandchildren Chelsea, Aaron, Brandon and Courtney Ellinghausen. She is preceded in death by her husband in May of 1986.
