María Guadalupe Flores, de 91 años, de West Point, falleció el miércoles 13 de Septiembre de 2023 en su casa. La misa conmemorativa será a las 10:30 am el martes 19 de septiembre en la iglesia católica St. Mary en West Point, NE con el reverendo Gerald Gonderinger como celebrante. El entierro será en el cementerio de St. Michael y luego habrá un almuerzo en Centro Nielsen Center. Su velacion será el lunes de 6:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. con un rosario a las 7:00 p. m. en Stokely Funeral Home. Arreglos de Stokely Funeral Home.

María Guadalupe Flores nació el 2 de Noviembre de 1931 de Cruz Reyes Hernández y María Guadalupe Camacho de Reyes en Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, México. El 12 de octubre de 1955 María se casó con Salvador Flores en Atotonilco el Atto, Jalisco. La pareja se mudó a California en 1991 antes de mudarse a West Point en 2005. María estaba dedicada a su familia y a su fe. Le encantaba alimentar a su familia e ir a caminar.

A María le sobreviven sus hijos María “Lupe” (Jim) Schinstock, Salvador, Marco (Elida) todos de West Point, Bertha Baltierrez, Martha (Max) Reyes, Sonia (Arturo) Cota, Julia Flores, Rafael Flores, y Favian Flores todos de Tecate, Baja California, México, y Rosa Chávez de Beemer; 22 nietos y varios bisnietos y 1 tataranieto

Maria Guadalupe Flores, 91, of West Point, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at her home.  Memorial Mass will be 10:30am on Tuesday, September 19 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant.  Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery with lunch following at the Nielsen Center.  Visitation will be Monday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Stokely Funeral Home.  Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home.

Maria Guadalupe Flores was born on November 2, 1931 to Cruz Reyes Hernandez and Maria Guadalupe Camacho de Reyes in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico.  On October 12, 1955, Maria married Salvador Flores at Atotonilco el Atto, Jalisco.  The couple moved to California in 1991 before moving to West Point in 2005.  Maria was dedicated to her family and her faith.  She loved to feed her family and go walking.

Maria is survived by her children Maria “Lupe” (Jim) Schinstock, Salvador, Marco (Elida) all of West Point, Bertha Flores, Martha (Max) Reyes, Sonia (Arturo) Cota, Julia Flores, Rafael Flores, Favian Flores all of Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, and Rosa Chavez of Beemer; 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
