Margaret M., Mrs. Al Kreikemeier, 86, of Dodge, formerly of West Point, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Parkview Home in Dodge. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with Reverend Patrick McLaughlin as celebrant. Wake service will be 7:30 pm. Friday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and Christian Mother’s Rosary will be 3:00 pm. Friday also at the Church. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery at Monterey. Visitation will be noon until 8:00 pm. Friday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Stokely Funeral Home in Dodge is in charge of arrangements. Margaret was born May 25, 1922 on the family farm near Howells in Cuming County, to Joseph and Margaret Ebbers Schlautman. She attended District #51 School. On November 11, 1948, she married Aloysius “Al” Kreikemeier at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dodge. The couple farmed northeast of Dodge near Monterey where Margaret was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Following her husband, Al’s, death in 1990, Margaret retired to West Point. In 2006 she moved to Dodge. Margaret was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Survivors include a daughter Patricia, (James) Reinhardt of Garden City, MI, sons William (Joann) and Melvin (Mary) both of West Point, James (Jean) of Ft. Collins, CO, and Edward (Connie) of Lincoln, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Al, in January 1990, daughter and son in law Janice and Beecroft “B” McNeil, sisters Mamie Wolf, Lucy Widhelm, Philomena, Eichberger, Helen Sindelar, and Leona Schlautman, and brother Joseph Schlautman.
