Linda Lou Steinkraus, 56, of West Point died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Graveside services will be 10:30 am. Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery with Reverend Christian Meier of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be noon until 6:00 pm. Tuesday at Stokely Funeral Home. Linda was born February 12, 1952 at Zimmerman, Minnesota to Gerald and Lillian Nyberg Steinkraus. She moved with her family to West Point in 1969, graduating from West Point High School with the class of 1972. Linda worked as a live in house keeper and nanny during the early 1980’s. She enjoyed keeping track of her family and letter writing. Survivors include sister Donna Steinkraus of Lincoln, brothers Michael of Norfolk, Jeff (Tamara) of Sioux City, IA, and Anthony of Los Angeles, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steven.
