Graveside services with military honors will be 1:00pm Saturday, February 15th, at Hooper Cemetery in Hooper, with Reverend Gregg Miller officiating. Linda Sue Dau was born August 11, 1962 in Beeville, TX to John and Mary (Canos) Dau. She grew up in Texas and was a 1980 graduate of Richard King High School, Corpus Christi, TX. On April 14, 2001, Linda married Michael Lynn Douglas Abraham at her parents’ farm in Dodge County. Linda served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a volunteer at the USS Lexington Museum in Corpus Christi, TX, a ship on which her father served. Linda enjoyed working as a secretary for Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, TX, Scribner High School, and currently for Mutual of Omaha in Blair. Survivors include her husband Michael Lynn Douglas Abraham; daughters Valerie Creek of Tekamah and Stephanie (Scott) Creek Wimer of Columbus; mother Mary Dau of Dodge County; sister Carolyn Thisby of Fremont; nephew John Robert Thisby; niece Malynda Sue Thisby; and aunt Lupe Gonzalez of Dodge County. Linda was preceded in death by her father John Dau; grandparents; and Larry Creek. Stokely Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
