Larry Alan Suhr, 55, of Scribner, died February 21, 2008 at his home. Memorial Services will be 10:30 am. Monday at United Lutheran Church in Scribner with Vicar Nicki McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Scribner Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be noon until 8:00 pm. Sunday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point with family present from 5:00 pm. until 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Church or Scribner Fire and Rescue. Larry was born November 26, 1952 at West Point to Lenard and Delores Havekost Suhr, was baptized at St. Pails, Hooper and confirmed at United Evangelical Lutheran in Scribner. He attended schools at Scribner graduating from Scribner High School in 1971. He attended School of Commerce in Omaha. In 1973, he married Jane Packer. The couple had 3 children and later divorced. In 1986 he married Lorelei Emery. They later divorced. Larry worked in the parts department for Caterpillar, living and working in Omaha, Grand Junction, CO, Hobbs and Albuquerque, NM and Elko, NV. He Returned to Scribner in 2004. Larry was a member of United Lutheran in Scribner. Survivors include daughter Christina (Mike) Gillespie, sons Benjamin (Leslie) Suhr and Andrew Suhr all of Elko, NV, step daughter Stephanie Smith of Elko, NV, 9 grandchildren sisters JoyceLow of Edmonds, WA, and Diane Suhr of Omahaand brother Dennis (Joyce) Suhr of West Point, NE . He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Doris Suhr
