Ladeta O. Doerneman, 60, of Wisner, died January 1, 2007 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Aloys with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. Public Wake Services will be 7:00 pm. Thursday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Thursday. Ladeta was born December 8, 1946 in Naga City, Philippines to Alfredo and Benvinida Orlina Navarro, grew up and attended schools there. She moved to California on her birthday in 1973. On February 9, 1974, she married Duane Doerneman at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Aloys. Ladeta was an active farm wife who was known for raising peanuts and her wonderful cooking. She was employed at Indian Trails at Beemer, Coachman’s in Wisner and McDonald’s in West Point. She quit working in 1996 when her health would not allow. Ladeta entered and won several pie baking contests. Ladeta was a member of St. Aloysius Church, Guild, Christian Mothers and Show Car Club. Survivors include her husband, Duane, of West Point, daughters Lisa (Lucas) Lierman of Lincoln, Jennifer Doerneman of Wisner, and Diana Doerneman of Blair, son Franklin Doerneman of Lincoln, her mother, Benvinida Navarro, of the Philippines, mother in law Lavaine Doerneman of West Point, sister Flordilita (Bob) White of Omaha, 4 grandchildren, Lance and Chase Lierman, Jordan Doerneman, and Christian Price. She is preceded in death by her father and father in law.
