Kathleen M. Ernesti, 80, of West Point died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Fremont Area Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant. Guild and Christian Mothers Rosary will be 1:30 pm. Sunday and public wake services will be 7:00 pm. Sunday both at Stokely Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon until 8:00 pm. Sunday at Stokely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Guardian Angels Endowment. Kathleen was born August 28, 1929 at Olean to George and Catherine Dolejes Miller. She attended Sacred Heart Academy at Olean and was a 1947 Dodge High School graduate. On February 15, 1949, Kathleen married Ambrose Ernesti at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Olean. The couple farmed near Aloys, moving to West Point in 1974. Kathleen was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Guild and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed all manner of sewing especially quilting. Survivors include children Margaret “Peggy” (Clifford) Walker, of Cozad, Glenn (Patti) Ernesti , Jeff, Ernesti, Sarah (Steve) Rief all of West Point, Linda Ueding o and Phillip Ernesti both of Omaha, Susan (Randy) Ratliff of Lincoln and Sandra (Steve) Blank of Arcadia, CA, sister Mary (Marius) Baumert and brother Jack Miller both of Dodge, 18 grandchildren and20 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose, in 1977, brothers Robert Miller and George Miller, Jr., and sisters Jane Miller, Dorothy Adams and Mercedes Ruskamp.
