Justina Schueth, 100, of West Point, died February 21, 2007 at West Point Living Center. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Retirement Community Chapel with Monsignor Andrew Meister as celebrant. Burial will occur at a later date. Those wishing to sign the register may do so 9:00 pm. until 5:00 pm. at Stokely Funeral Home or on line at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Justina was born May 6, 1906 at West Point to Bernard (who immigrated from Germany in 1886 at age 14) and Mary Meister Heimann. She attended school at St. Boniface at Monterey. She worked at the West Point Hotel before her 1937 marriage to Otto Schueth. Tina also worked at the Dry cleaners and the original St. Joseph’s. She retired in the mid 1980’s from St. Francis Memorial Hospital, working as an aid. She enjoyed the last 10 years of he life living At St. Joseph’s Retirement Community. Justina was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Guild. She loved Bingo and enjoyed playing cards, pitch with friends and Sheep head with family. Survivors include her daughter Mary Kay Sandgren of San Marcos, CA, brother Bob Heimann of Chico, CA and Gus Heimann of West Point, grandson Scott (Veronica) Sandgren, 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Otto, in 1979, sisters Theresa Walters, Mary Litz, Clara Hall, Rose Heimann, Leona Hirschman, and Gertrude Halbert, brothers Herman, Bernard and August Heimann.
