Monday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with Reverend Dennis DeGuzmann as celebrant. Wake services will be 7:00 pm. Sunday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 until 8:00 Sunday at the Church. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Julie was born July 25, 1968 at West Point to Harvey and Mary Kroenke Mandel. She grew up in Dodge, attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School and graduated from Dodge High School in 1986. She attended UNL. She worked at IBP in West Point before moving to Lincoln where she worked at ConAgra/ Cook and Cold Storage in accounting. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed socializing, cooking, reading and shopping. Survivors include her parents Harvey and Mary Mandel of Dodge, sisters Lynn Mandel of Dodge and Alison Mandel of Scottsdale, AZ, grandparents Aldred and Justina Kroenke of Dodge, and her companion Jim “Doc” Dockery of Lincoln. She is preceded in death by her brother Scott Mandel in 1987 and her paternal grandparents.
