Johnny William Neiman, III, 70, of Beemer, died June 28, 2007 at his farm home. Services will be 2:00 pm. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point with Reverend Don Olson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until 8:00 pm. Saturday and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Johnny was born August 8, 1936 south of Beemer to Johnny W., Jr. and Anna Holtz Neiman. He grew up on the farm, was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, and attended school at Immanuel Lutheran School. From November of 1956 until November of 1958, Johnny served in the US Army. On August 8, 1965 he married Helen Schrader in Omaha. The couple farmed the home place and Johnny drove the maintainer for Elkhorn Township for 47 years, retiring in 2006. Johnny was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. He enjoyed his guns, target shooting, shooting blue rock and was a member of NRA. He loved his faithful companion, “Taz”. Survivors include a daughters Janet (David) Surls of Republic, MO, Bonnie (David) Mandel of Dodge, son John, Jr. (Dena) of Sioux City, IA, 2 granddaughters Courtney and Tara Neiman, sister in laws Doris Paulson and Elaine (Harry) Breitbarth both of West Point. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen, on December 31, 2001, and brother Dallas Neiman.
