Jim was a high School classmate and a great friend and will truly be missed. He sang at our wedding 38 years ago. Our New Years Eve will not be the same without Jim this year.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He loved each and everyone of you and enjoyed telling us all about your lives. He was very proud of his family.

Jim and I were classmates at Monterey and at WPCC. He sang at our wedding also 34 years ago. He was always good for a story or memory from years ago. Our prayers go out to all of his family. Family was very important to him.

Ah, Jim. What fond memories I have of our time together in high school. He was always kind, with a ready smile and good about giving me and others rides in his pink Studebaker. It was a one-of-a-kind car. His voice was rich and generous, even then. He sang "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof at a vocal music recital that I remember particularly well. The many former convenience store customers whose lives he touched in Lincoln are poorer for his loss, but richer for having known him.

Our prayers are with his family and friends in this time of loss. Jim sang at our wedding, 25 years ago, too. He was one of my roommates for a semester at UNL. I have many memories of that, and good times shared with good friends over the years. After we were married and moved to S.W. Nebraska and then Colorado, we saw him much less - usually a quick visit at the station on the way to or from visiting relatives, - I have many fond memories.
