Henrietta Catherine Ridder, 83 of West Point died June 9, 2006 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church at Monterey with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. There will be a Rosary 1:30 pm. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Retirement Community and Public Wake Services will be 7:00 pm. Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Central Catholic Endowment. Visitation will be 3:00 pm. until wake time Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Henrietta was born February 27, 1923 on the family farm west of West Point to Fred and Christina Stalp Uhing. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School. She worked in Omaha for a short period. On February 6, 1947 at St. Boniface she married Frank J. Ridder. The couple farmed west of West Point. Henrietta remained on the farm until August of 2005. Henrietta was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church where she played the organ for several years, and Alter Society. She was in the Auxiliary of The Pink Sisters, Hospital and American Legion Axillaries. She enjoyed her various card clubs, sewing and baking. Survivors include children Florence (Gary) Hendricks of Lincoln, Norm (Nadine) of Springfield, MO, Frank, Jr.(Karen) of Colorado Springs, CO, Marilyn (Kenny) Dustin of Lincoln, , Paul (Jackie), Dorothy (Pat) Burger, Betty (Duane) Luebbert of Omaha, Tom (Colleen) of Omaha, Mike (Tammy) of Fullerton , Don (Brenda) of Omaha, David (Teri) West Point, 44 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren sisters Laverne (Dennis) Wiemann, of Norfolk, rosemary Sobansky, Norfolk , sr. Marilyn Uhing Colorado Springs, CO and Jenny (Gene) Maly of Lincoln, brother Kenneth (Doreen) Uhing of West Point. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank May 17, 1989, son James August 12, 1977 and granddaughter Nicole Burger and brothers Alfred, Cletus, Leonard Uhing.
