Glenn A. Siebrandt, 89, of Pender, died Friday, August 25, 2023 at Heritage of Bel Air in Norfolk.  Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Tuesday, August 29 at St. John’s Lutheran Church – rural Pender with Rev. Robert Schilling officiating.  Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery with lunch following at the church hall.  Visitation will be Tuesday prior to the service from 9:00am to 11:00am at church.  Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.  Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home.

Glenn Arnold Siebrandt was born June 27, 1934 in Pender, NE to William and Adeline (Beinke) Siebrandt.  He grew up on the family farm, attending school through the eighth grade before leaving school to help on the farm.  Glenn continued the farming tradition for 51 years.   He and Margaret Radecker were united in marriage on June 27, 1954 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in West Point.   Glenn was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Pender, where he was involved with the Men’s Club and Lutheran Layman’s League.

Glenn worked for Hilltop Feed Services for 15 years and drove truck part-time for Stewart Trucking.

Survivors include his wife Margaret; sons, John of Geraldine, MT, Kenneth (Kathi) and David (Pam) of Pender; daughters, Susan (Lowell) Kai of Stanton and Julie of Norfolk; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Schmidt of Wisner.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ervin; and sisters, Laura Sorenson and Dorothy Hinrich.
