Gerald R. Wisnieski, 65, of Dodge, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Fremont Area Medical Center. Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, 5:00 pm. until 7:00, at Stokely Funeral Home in Dodge. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at another time. In lieu of floers, memorials may be made to Dodge Rescue. Gerald was born October 26, 1942 in Dodge to Richard and Elizabeth Borgmeyer Wisnieski. He was a 1960 graduate of Dodge High School and a 1964 graduate of Wayne State College. On August 1, 1970, he married Nona Snyder at St. Isadore Catholic Church in Columbus. Gerald taught school before his employment with the U. S. Geological Survey in Huron, SD. The couple retired to Dodge in 2003. Survivors include his wife, Nona, of Dodge, daughter, Jeri (Tony) Ingemansen of Aberdeen , SD, mother, Elizabeth Wisnieski of Dodge, granddaughter , taylor Ingemansen, sisters, Ann Marie (John) Minarich and Betty (Frank) Schuman both of Omaha, mother-in-law, Barbara Snyder and brother-in-law, Bob Snyder both of Ewing, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard in 1983 and his father in law, Lloyd Snyder in 1976.
