Georgine Margaret Disher, 71, of Fremont, formerly of Beemer and West Point, died May 17, 2006 at her home in Fremont. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant. Public Wake Services will be 7:00 pm. Friday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Friday. Memorials may be made to Polycystic Liver and Kidney Foundation or Guardian Angels Endowment. Those wishing to leave on line condolences may do so at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Georgine was born on a farm near Fordyce to Fredrick and Freda Wiesler Lammers. She is a 1952 graduate of Hartington Central Catholic. After graduation, she worked as a telephone operator in Fremont. On May 27, 1957 she married John Disher at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington. The couple moved to Beemer in 1960, then to West Point in 1997. Georgine moved to Fremont in 2003. Georgine was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and guild. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and working with her flowers. Survivors include daughters Debora (Steven) Schulz of Bennington, JoAnn Ehrisman and Pamela (Dale) Holtz both of Fremont and Sandra (David) Fischer of West Point, son David (Jodi) Disher of West Point, brother Francis (Margaret) Lammers of Hartington, sister-in-laws Jeannie Lammers of North Platte, Marion Lammers of Weirton, West Virginia, and Donna (Jack) Karns of Fort Collins, Colorado, 10 grandchildren Eric and Heather Schulz, Mitchell (Danelle) Ehrisman, Jason and Jeremy Holtz, Cody and Jordan Fischer, and Devin, Sheldon, and Aaron Disher and great grandson Tanner Ehrisman. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, April 12, 1997, brothers James Howard and Harold Lammers and sister Mary Ann Hirschman.
