Fred was my friend. I saw him the last time I was back in West Point in the alley by his house. We talked about the Korean War. Fred was a soft spoken and polite person. He was also a very humble person. His characteristics remind me so much of the people that I knew growing up in West Point especially my Mom and Dad, Dorothy and Loren Siebrandt. It is a sad day to have to say goodbye to my friend. I will miss him.
