Francis C. Heimann, 87, of West Point, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at West Point Living Center. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Public Wake with Knights of Columbus Rosary will be 7:00 pm. Monday at Stokely Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Monday and9:00 am. Until service time Tuesday at Stokely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church or to Relay for Life. Francis was born March 12, 1922 on the family farm south of Monterey to Frank and Theresa Kluthe Heimann. He attended St. Boniface Catholic School. On June 1, 1949, Francis married Margaret Stalp at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. The couple farmed on the Cumming and Dodge County Line and were members of St. Leo Catholic Church in Snyder. They retired into West Point in 1977. Francis was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point and Knights of Columbus. Francis enjoyed his grandkids and loved to farm. Survivors include his wife Margaret of West Point, son Leigh of West Point, daughters Linda (Rob) Ross of Westminster, Colorado and Kathy (Mark) Buse of West Point, son in law Dave Pieper of Dodge, grandchildren Cindy (Lee) Reichmuth, Brian (Jamie) Pieper, Karen, Emily, and Chris Pieper, John (Samantha) Ross, Michael, David and Tim Ross, Laura and Nicole Buse, great grandchildren Tyler and Hallie Reichmuth and Ethan Ross, sisters Olivia Baumert of Clarkson and Helen Kassmeier of Hooper, sisters-in-law Gertrude Heimann and Leona Heimann both of Fremont. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Pieper in September of 2008, brothers Raymond and Gilbert Heimann and sisters Delores Meiergerd and Dorothy Wiese.
