Fritz Reiman, 82 of West Point, died December 5, 2006 at West Point Living Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point with Reverend Frank Lordemann as celebrant. Wake services will be 7:00 pm. Friday at Stokely Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. Friday at Stokely Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to St. Michael’s Cemetery. Com Ferdinand Herman “Fritz” Reiman was born February 19, 1924 on the family farm at St. Charles to Joseph and Josephine Kreinert Reiman. He attended schools at St. Anthony’s Catholic School. On August 10, 1957 he married Ruth Lueckenhoff at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. The couple made their home there. Fritz worked driving the maintainer for St. Charles Township; he mechanized for Lubker’s, Grain States Soya, and retired from the Cuming County Public Power District in 1986. Fritz was an avid train enthusiast, enjoyed wood working and traveling. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nation Threshers Association. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Ruth, of West Point, sister Rita Reynolds of Victorville, California, sister in laws LaNina Reiman of West Point and Alice Reiman of Council Bluffs. Iowa and a brother in law John Price of Marietta, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Reiman, Augusta Price and Angela Reiman, brothers Ben, Al and Joe Reiman.
