Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point with Reverend Christian Meier as officiant. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 am to 8 pm Thursday with family receiving friends from 5 pm to 7 pm at Stokely Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. Evelyn Anna Marie Ellinghausen was born April 27, 1919 on the family farm in Dodge County to George and Anna (Dorfmeyer) Kottmann. She attended rural school District 50 in Dodge County and was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church northeast of Scribner. On December 18, 1945, Evelyn married Herman Ellinghausen at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The couple farmed in Southeast Cuming County until retiring to West Point in 1981. Evelyn was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and volunteer, was active in the church and enjoyed quilting. Evelyn is survived by her son-in-law Ivan Kruger of Omaha; granddaughter Kristi (Keith) Gregerson of Omaha; and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Zachary, Chase and Anna Gregerson all of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman in August 1990; daughter Diane Kruger in August 2012; brother Glenville Kottmann and sister Marie Ellinghausen.
