Ellea Joyce Hammond, 81, formerly of West Point, died February 18, 2026 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Services will be at a later date. Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home.

Ellea Joyce Hammond was born June 16, 1944 in Grand Island, NE to Charles and Ellea (Hill) Wiseman. Ellea married Dwayne Orville Hammond on April 9, 1964 in Fremont, NE. The couple lived in a number of different communities over the years, making their final home together in Beemer. Ellea most recently lived in Tecumseh, NE to be near family.

Ellea was primarily a homemaker over the years, raising their family of two daughters and two sons. Employment outside the home consisted of Mr. Donuts in Fremont and the Hooper Care Center.

Ellea is survived by her daughters, Tina (Scott) McClain and Christine (Rodney) Jackson; sons, Mike (Tammy Page) Hammond and Richard (Laurie Dover) Hammond; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dwayne in 2008.
