Edwin Rust, 90, of West Point, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at West Point Living Center. Funeral Services will be 4:00pm Sunday, March 17th, at Stokely Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Lordemann officiating. A memorial has been established. Edwin George Rust was born February 21, 1923 in Adrian, Minnesota to George and Sara (Reichert) Rust. On November 17, 1976 Ed married Dorothy Perry at the Presbyterian Church in Lawton, Iowa. Ed farmed, sold seed, and owned an implement dealership in Pipestone, MN. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed reading, fishing, and going to McDonalds. Ed is survived by his son Doug Rust of New Ulm, MN and his children Cody and Courtney; daughter Dawn (Tony) allison of Mocksville, NC and their children Patricia, Jessica, Rachel, and Dana; daughter Laurie Cameron of LaVerne, MN; granddaughter Joy (Doug) Stratman of West Point and their children Cassidee, Carter, and Cade; and sister Bernice Gramstad of New Mexico. Ed is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; parents George and Sara Rust; sister Harriet Hickman; infant sister; and stepdaughter Sue Zobel. Stokely Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
