Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant followed by burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Wake services will be 7:30 pm. Friday at Stokely Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:00 am. to 8:00 pm. Friday with family present at 6:00 pm. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church endowment. Ed was born April 13, 1922 on the family in Cuming County, Nebraska to William and Mary Imsicke Wieneke. He attended Catholic school at St. Anthony’s at St. Charles. On September 7, 1944, Ed married Adana Kreikemeier at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Snyder. Ed farmed and fed cattle on the Dodge and Cuming County line until moving into West Point in 1999. Ed was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed his life on the farm, working with his livestock and going fishing. Survivors include his wife, Adana of West Point, son Gerald (Kim) of West Point, daughters Shirley (Loren) Rief of Lyons and Lynette (Merlin) Petersen of Scribner, son in law Larry (Diana) Kreikemeier of West Point, 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Sharon Kreikemeier and brother Raymond Wieneke.
