Susan was at first a boss, then a mentor, and after only a short time working with her, a friend. She was so helpful and positive, and always found time to talk. She was positive and so energetic and hard working...Always someone for me to look up to. She leaves big hole in the world with her passing, and she will be truly missed. My sincerest condolences to her family and everyone who loved her.

I worked with Susan at Sandia National Labs. I could always tell when she was coming down the hall by the sound of her footsteps. I will miss hearing those steps. Her laugh is unforgettable and I will truly miss her. We had great conversations about exercise, food, family and travels. She was kind to everyone and treated everyone equally. She was a unique individual and will be missed by so many. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to her family, friends and co-workers. God Speed my friend.

Susan was a great contributor to biomedical and other technologies and a great mentor to developing scientists. I met her only briefly but had heard much about her contributions. She will be missed.

I remember 4-H meetings at your farm and occasionally staying at your place when one of the girls would be babysitting us. Susan was always nice to us even if we were a little younger. She always had a positive attitude and kindness in her heart. She was even nice when she outran us all in races! I remember seeing her name on the track record board in high school and saying, yep she is my relative. By reading all the messages , she remained the same person she was growing up. I am so proud to have the same last name of Susan along with all her family. Susan brought true goodness to all of us, thank you Susan. May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I thank God for the opportunity to have known the incomparable Dr. Susan Brozik as a friend, mentor, and colleague. While at Sandia there were many visits to her office to talk about off the wall ideas or just to vent. Either way I always left having laughed, learned, and having much more hope than before. Susan, I will miss you so much.

Sus was an amazing combination of world-class scientist, colleague, friend, athlete, and bright light at Sandia who mentored and helped folks here at all ranks. I am deeply grateful for so many memorably cheerful interactions with her over the past 5 years, usually enhanced by her unique smile and laugh. She was an inspiring role model to so many and an unforgettably positive and gracious personality. Condolences to all suffering from this terrible loss. She is deeply missed.
