Dorothy K. Moberly, 81, of West Point, died October 14, 2005 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Memorial Services will be 11:00 am. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Reverend Kevin Cook officiating. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so 1:00 until 5:00 Sunday at Stokely Funeral Home or on line at www.stokelyfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice. Dorothy was born November 7, 1923 at Fargo, North Dakota to George W. and Opal Burdick Decker. As a young girl she moved to Omaha where she graduated from Omaha Tech High School. Dorothy worked as maid, housekeeper, and cook and managed a home for the mentally challenged before moving to West Point in the early 1990’s. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, former member of Optimists. She participated in the relay for life and enjoyed going to the casino’s. Survivors include her sons Jim (Pat) Butler of Oxford, Georgia, and Larry (Janice) Butler of Janesville Wisconsin, sisters Fern Loganbill of California and Geraldine Aldin of Minnesota, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, all her family at Somerset Apartments, especially Gerald McDonald. She is preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Harrison, brothers Robert, George and Alfred Decker.
