Praying that you have peace, and sadness quickly gives way to good memories and smiles. My memories of Doreen are those of a mom and grandma cheering on her kids and praying for them. The older I get, the more valuable that example is to me. Thinking of you all. Julie and Steve

Doreen babysat for my two children, Angela and Gunnar, while their father was teaching at West Point HS, and I was working at the Cuming County Extension Office in the mid to late 1970’s. My daughter remembers that she was always cooking or doing laundry. Both kids loved being there among Doreen’s kiddos; they were treated like members of her family. Rest in peace, Doreen, as Jesus wraps his arms around you. Debbie Gates, Fort Pierre, South Dakota.
