Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 29 at 9:30am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Fr. An Duy Phan as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery with lunch following at the Dodge Veterans Club. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm with a Vigil Service at 5:00pm all at church. Memorials may be made to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Stokely Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Donna Rae Uher was born on November 3, 1945 to Wilfred and Ann (Brandl) Sand in Humphrey. She was raised in Humphrey and graduated from Humphrey St. Francis High School. Donna then continued her education at the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Omaha. On August 9, 1969, Donna married David Uher at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. She worked at Parkview Nursing Home for 44 years before retiring in 2014. Donna was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and volunteered with the blood mobile. She enjoyed bowling and golfing. She loved to read, eat out, and shopping. She loved God, her husband, family and friends. Survivors include her husband, David of Dodge; mother, Ann Sand of Humphrey; sisters, Carolyn (Rich) Thomas of Redwood City, CA, Margaret (Dale) Renner of Norfolk, Jane (Mark) Winterringer of Yankton, SD, and Julie (Randy) Ditter of Omaha; and brothers, Alvin (Mary) Sand of Lincoln and Jerry (Cindy) Sand of Lenexa, KS. She is preceded in death by her father, Wilfred, and twin brothers, Terry and Todd, in infancy.
