Donald Marlow Lofgren, 80, of West Point, died December 26, 2004 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Donald was born February 19, 1924 at Beldon, NE to Verne and Della Ayre Lofgren. Don farmed with his father 4 miles east of West Point until his retirement and moved into West Point in 1970. In 1996 he moved to West Point Living Center. Donald was a member of Trinity Church in West Point. Survivors include his sister Lola Ruth (Merle) Gustafson of West Point, nephews Gerald (Cheryl) Gustafson of West Point, Rodney (Carol) Gustafson of Waverly, niece Denise (John) Kerschinski of Cedar Bluffs, Great Nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Elwin. Services will be 1:30 pm. Wednesday at Trinity Church in West Point with Reverend Scott Evans officiating. Burial will be at West Side Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church or Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 am. until 8:00 pm. Tuesday with family present 3:00 to 5:00.
