David W. Klein Feb 8, 1961-Feb 22, 2012 Age 51, Omaha, NE. David passed away Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. David attended Guardian Angels grade school and West Point Central Catholic High School where he graduated in 1979. He then attended UNL and UNMC where he earned a BSN. He worked for many years at St. Joe’s/Creighton hospital where he was a highly regarded ICU nurse. David is survived by daughter Marie, Omaha, and son Andrew, wife Meredith and two grandsons Benjamin and Zachary, father Tom Klein of Crete, NE. and sister Becky Klein-Hunke and husband James Hunke and nephews Adam, Isaac and Nathaniel Hunke also of Crete, NE, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Morgan Elizabeth Klein and mom, Judy (Ellis) Klein, grandparents Harvey and Pauline Ellis and Tony and Mildred Klein. Rosary will be held Friday, Feb 24 at 7:00 and funeral service will be Sat, Feb 25 at 11:00 at Stokley Funeral Home, West Point, NE. Memorials directed by the family.
